Where we ship. Australia only, sorry — no exceptions. We're keeping life simple.
How fast we move. We're a small team, and we'll bend over backwards to get your order out the next day. In busier periods that's not always possible — if that's the case, we'll flag it on the site so you know what to expect.
We ship with Australia Post. As a business based in the Shoalhaven, NSW, here's what that looks like — final lodgements go in by 4pm, Monday to Friday.
Parcel Post — standard, free shipping
- Same state (NSW/ACT): 2–4 business days
- Interstate: 3–6 business days
Express Post — $15
- Same state (NSW/ACT): 1–2+ business days (next-business-day guarantee applies within specific network zones)
- Interstate: 1–3+ business days
What it costs. As a launch gift to you, standard shipping is free on full-priced items. Sample Vault excluded. Offer ends October 31, 2026.
Tracking your order. Every order ships with Australia Post tracking included. We deliver to PO boxes and parcel lockers, and we might ask for a signature every now and then — just for your peace of mind.
Returns. Until we get to know each other, we're offering free returns as part of our launch — our standard 30-day returns window still applies underneath it. This offer also ends October 31, 2026.
Once the launch promo wraps up, return postage is on you. Either way, email hello@thesolestory.com.au and we'll walk you through it.
Sample Vault pieces are final sale — they sit outside the free shipping and returns promo altogether.
