MEET THE TEAM

The feet behind The Sole Story.

Shoe-obsessed, well-travelled, and always ready to talk soles over small talk.

Where you entered the world:

Where your story began — the city, the country, the very first steps.

Sydney

Where's home now:

Where you kick off your shoes at the end of the day.

Jervis Bay

How many pairs of shoes do you own, the number you tell people... and the number that’s actually true:

Probably less than you think! I am a popular size 39, so I pass them on to friends and family regularly.

Do you have favourites, the ones that get first pick out of the wardrobe, every time:

FLY London SALV, I have 4 colours and clock up so many kilometres.

What is the oldest pair that you own, the pair that's earned its stripes — still going, still loved:

My final pair of tap shoes, over 30 years old. I get them out and have a dance every time we Spring clean.

Flats or heels: Pick your side. No fence-sitting:

Heels, though they are getting lower. Craig thinks I'm shrinking as I get older!

How many shoes do you pack to go travelling, be honest — “just one pair” has never once been true:

3-4. I would love to take more, but I have to pack light as my check in bags are always full of samples!

How many pairs of shoes do you own, the number you tell people... and the number that's actually true:

13 — more if brands made them in my size!

Do you have favourites, the ones that get first pick out of the wardrobe, every time:

Golf shoes — it means I'm out on the course.

What is the oldest pair that you own, the pair that's earned its stripes — still going, still loved:

Timberland Chukka boot circa 2010 when we were living in London.

Flats or heels: Pick your side. No fence-sitting:

Got to have arch support in my flats.

How many shoes do you pack to go travelling, be honest — “just one pair” has never once been true:

3 (if I am not playing golf).
